I wish I had known this product existed years ago. I travel with one or two large dogs (both 70 pounds) and just did a 5 day hiking trip with one of them during which she was covered in beach sand and mud :) . Easy to clean just lift it out and wipe it down. So much more room for the dog to sleep/rest. Folds neatly behind the front seats if you need to use the rear seat for anything else and still leaves all of the room underneath for storage. The hanging straps worked great as it turned out I ended up sleeping in the car for a couple of nights and had extra room fro my pillow.Overall, I love this product. My dogs have more room in the backseat to move around and its very durable. Unfortunately this is not waterproof (as shown in the picture you can just wipe liquids off the top.) That is not true. My dog got to excited when we arrived to the park and had a small accident which leaked through to the boards. The cover comes off to wash which is great but the board is now Stained and was unsuccessful trying to get it clean. If you're not wanting something waterproof then I would 100% recommend this product.We have been looking for a way to extend the back seat of our Crew Cab 3/4 ton truck to better fit our 3 medium sized dogs. The issue came to a head when we recently bought a travel trailer. We bought it so we can travel with the dogs but making the back seat comfortable has been a problem. We've tried home made solutions and another brand of extender but it just didn't fit. This one worked! It is not specifically for dogs or a crew cab pickup but it did the job for us. The total weight of the 3 dogs are 130 lbs and it held up for a 2000 mile trip with no problems. The only thing we had to do was fill in the space in the middle front where air vents might be in an SUV. In a Crew Cab pickup, there is quite a gap there of wasted space that we needed for the dogs. For this first long trip, we filled it with a 5 gal bucket set upside down in the space with a folded crate pad on top and the dog hammock over it. However, we are going to find something to better fit in the square space for the future.I bought this for our Xl pitbull. This fits perfectly in our 2018 Jeep Rubicon Recon. Our pitbull is 135 lbs and needs sturdy support! This doesn’t move! We put a large memory foam bed on top of the support.Keeps my German Shepherd happy and comfortable in the car. She doesn't fall off the seat anymore and can lay down when she actually gets tired :p Very comfortable to lay on as well, and definitely seems like a good backup if I get rained out camping!Tried all kinds of backseat set ups for my 2 standard poodles…this was a breakthrough. Sets up quick and easy, very sturdy and easy to clean, quick access to footwell and under back seat storage, comes right out in a flash and folds up neat and compact. Game changerI bought this to put in my 2018 Silverado crew cab for my 16lbs puppy. I can't complain about the fit. There is a gap between the front center console and the pad but I'm ok with that because he is tethered so he won't try to climb into the front seat. Having this allows me to lengthen his tether without out him falling to the floor. It was super easy to install. It's also easy to fold and slide under the seat or put in my tool box of if I need it out of the way. Really pleased with this purchase.I have a Dodge Ram 1500 Limited and I bought this for our first long distance family vacation. Very easy to set up and take down. Once I installed the mat I was very skeptical about it being able to hold up during the trip. My kids are ages 6 and 8. During our 15 hour drive to Colorado from Texas the mat was such a blessing and wonderful purchase for them. Once I set up there blankets and pillows into a pallet area they were able to comfortably stretch out and rest making things much easier on them. I was very surprised by how well things went on the road. I would definitely recommend to anyone with young kids on an extended road trip. Only issue we had was the mat half way blocking the rear center ac vents and restricting air flow. I don’t think it was designed for such a large rear cabin area. I solved this issue by pointing the vents upward and that seemed to work just fine for the trip. Overall 5 stars and a lifesaver for our trip!
