I wanted a new upholstered bed with NO FOOTBOARD. My last bed took out my thigh every night and I had an ever present bruise. Anyways, I searched for literal months and found this. I got the one with USB ports Bc at the time it was cheaper than the one without. I figured if they didn’t work, no biggie. Well, they do so that’s an added bonus.All pieces came zipped in the headboard which was neat. Putting it together was super easy. I have a lot of Ikea furniture experience and this was much simpler. Just using the included Allen wrench to put in maybe 10 screws. It also came with a ratchet that I was extremely excited about! I will be placing it on a shelf for all future Allen wrench projects.I wanted a true storage bed Bc I was worried about having space fir my under bed storage and honestly they still fit. I may have to gently lift my bed to help at first but seeing as I only need to access them a few times a year, it’s all good.I love how the bed looks. Some photos show it looking darker gray but it’s fairly true to the photo colors from the ordering page.The slats are super stable which I appreciate. Most beds I saw had very few slats and that was worrisome. I have a four year old who loves jumping on beds and I wanted to make sure the slats could hold up. Plus maybe I’ll have a snuggle buddy someday and ain’t nobody got time for broken slats.Yes the legs are kinda cheapy looking but that is a minor thing when all in all, I have a lovely looking bed.I definitely support getting this.
