DESCRIPTION
The Shroud of Turin or Turin Shroud (Italian: Sindone di Torino) is a length of linen cloth bearing the image of a man who appears to have suffered physical trauma in a manner consistent with crucifixion. There is no consensus yet on how the image was created. It is believed by some to be the burial shroud of Jesus of Nazareth, despite radiocarbon dating it to the Medieval period. The shroud is kept in the royal chapel of the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, Northern Italy. You get a Special Edition Signed Numbered Replica of the famous Large Secondo Pia Image of the Full body of Christ from 1898. This is the Sepia Frontal Body Style Version. Our image is actually printed onto a Middle Eastern type of Linen Cloth that is similar to the actual Shroud. This Body image is large and measures: 36 Inches Wide x 72 Inches High. That is 3 feet wide by 6 feet high! It has two wooden dowels that are highly polished attached on each end. The Wood measures 1.25 inches in diameter and is rounded at the ends. The Shroud comes rolled on a box ready to hang. The Body image weighs 4 pounds. With the Shroud you will also get a Free copy of our PDF Book; The Saga Of The Shroud. Our book is 8.5 x 11 inches and over 145 pages with many rare pictures from ancient books. The cover has a full color close up image of the real shroud. The back has a close up photo of the Secondo Pia Reliquary of his 1898 photographs. The book delves into the timeline of the Shroud before the 1349 factual timeline by using some new information that has come to light.

I love it, thank you so much for doing this. The quality is great, and shipping was very good. The presentation with the heavier, ornate dowels feels appropriate to the piece, and the shroud rolled out and hangs perfectly. It's so accurate that it has the same quality that people who've seen the real shroud mention - the image is clearer when you're further away. It's all there: the wounds, the blood, the burns - the quality of the print is fantastic. The shroud has been called 'the fifth gospel.' If you get this piece, you'll see why. It tells the story in a way words can't. You will not be disappointed.
